Special Education Requirement

Participation in the Educational Leadership program provides eligibility to obtain Administrator I (assistant in administration, supervisor in instruction, or supervisor in central administration endorsement). Our programs are aligned to the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) requirements. Therefore to obtain the approved program student, all participants must show teaching or professional license and provide proof of the completion of a three (3) credit special education course.

The special education course could have been completed in a previous program (graduate or undergraduate). To acquire the program stamp, participants must produce a license or transcript demonstrating that they have completed this prerequisite.

Students starting the program in the summer program, should contact educationoperations@loyola.edu a program of study.
